The transport sector is recognizing the benefits of wider systems automation and integration to help realise cost efficiencies, increase ridership and support ‘whole eco-system security’ that spans vehicles and infrastructure, according to customer insight analysis conducted by Synectics’ at Innotrans 2016.
Jürgen Fuchs, Director of Strategic Projects at Synectics, explained: “It’s no surprise that the sector is concerned with automation and integration. Not only does it enable process refinement and efficiency, it makes sense of the vast amounts of data generated by security and operational systems."
